I think the best part of the Subio platform is that it makes -omics analysis relatively easy for someone with no or limited background in bioinformatics. In this context, the small movie guiding me through an example analysis (sent to me after submitting a question via helpdesk) was also of great help.Software costs are always an issue if a researcher has no access to other analysis programs, and Subio offers a decent product for a good price.

The graphical output options of Subio are not that elaborated when compared with other programs (e.g. I had access to Genedata for some time - quite impressive). Other than that, I don't see any disadvantages compared to other solutions, at least for my requirements.

Yes, I agree that Genedata provides great tools for professional informaticians, whom we don't target to. We have different purposes and price ranges. We appreciate your input what makes easier to work on both software.

What tools can do is only extracting such genes from data without any smartness. There are many options you can choose, and this is why it's difficult to use the software for beginners.
