It is easy to use the software, and to manage lots of samples in the database. Sufficient function, and reletively cheep price

Only one year license is available, and contract renewal is a bit messy

We need a statistical analysis software, but GeneSpring is too expensive. We use Subio Platform and Basic Plug-in because it's easy to edit cutoffs or ways of analysis, and its visual aid is very helpful to determine settings of tools. This is a great help especially when we teach the theories to students on training. Moreover, Subio Platform is free and they can continue analyzing on their own computers. We usually work with Excel for managing sample and gene information, and we heavily use the Subio Platform's import-list function to add/edit information. 

There are some minor bugs, and we need to be careful about them.

I'm not sure I'm doing right. I felt so when I used other analysis software though.  I can't use some features from the network of the university.

Data sharing by ssa files is very easy.

It is difficult to explain how to use Subio Platform to other researches. We need the Japanese manual.

Other platforms have rigid structures that does not allow custom analysis. Subio scores over them in its flexibility. Also feel that subio has a wide array of data visualizations tools. Above all the technical support is excellent.

Free data browser is advantage of Subio platform, because it enable me to see the data on my laptop PC.

I have previously used "Partek", and the user interface of "Partek" is a little easier than that of Subio for me.
